# Mirror Mode

When you [Embody](/animotive-documentation/learning-animotive/embodying-a-character.md) a Character, you will automatically enter **Mirror Mode**, a performance aide to help you learn the range of movement and expression of your Character.

To remove the performance aid, **press the B button** on your right hand to toggle your Menu and bring back the laser. Look at the [Character Menu](/animotive-documentation/learning-animotive/embodying-a-character.md) and use your laser to **select the Mirror Mode button by pressing the right trigger.**&#x20;

**Press B** once again to remove the Menu and laser and begin performing.
