# Embodying A Character
### Embodying a character
To Embody a Character in Animotive, **point your laser at the Character** you wish to embody and **press the right trigger.**
Then, **look at your left hand** and you will see the Character Menu. If you want to use [eye tracking](/animotive-documentation/learning-animotive/performance/face-and-eye-tracking.md) or a [mocap suit ](/animotive-documentation/learning-animotive/performance/mocap.md)during your performance, you can set it up from this menu.
**Point your laser at the Embody button** on the menu and **press the right trigger**. You are now embodying the Character.
