Preparing Synty Characters in Maya for Animotive

First, import your Synty character .fbx into maya. The Synty characters have multiple meshes on the one rig, you need to hide the meshes of the characters you wonโt be using/exporting.
Next, go to the layers tab and delete the meshes that are in the items layer. These arenโt needed for the rig.
If you want to use any of these extra props you will have to separate them into their own .fbx files for use in Animotive.
After completing these steps, select your rig and the desired character mesh and export as a .fbx for Animotive.
